Kid friendly Holiday Resort in the Algarve Countryside
Vila do Ouro is a small-scale holiday park where privacy and child-friendly go hand in hand. The park is safe, and the entire property is walled/fenced. Our park is suitable for children of all ages. The youngest enjoy themselves in the children’s pool and playground. The primary school ages have fun together in the large swimming pool, on the tennis court, in the lounge and the playing field. The teenagers also do have fun in the pool and tennis court, with the Wi-Fi, in the lounge and in the hammocks. In addition, there is a lot to do in the area in terms of activities.
Children-Friendly Accommodation
We have tried to set up all our accommodation as child friendly as possible. Think of socket protection, children’s crockery, toilet seat reducer, potty, step stool and night lights.
Baby and children’s beds are available for rent. Here, children sleep on a real mattress.
Kids Pool
For our youngest guests, we have a heated children’s pool with different depths. Babies and children can easily play and learn to swim here. Our large pool (10 x 4 x 1.7m) is only for experienced swimmers. Salt water is used for the pools to create healthier swimming water.
Tennis Court
At Vila do Ouro’s tennis court, your children can learn to play tennis in peace. The tennis court is free to use and (children’s) rackets can be borrowed from us. There is also a basketball net.
Playground
Vila do Ouro has a playground with a climbing frame, swings, slide and seesaw. There is also a playing field where you can, for example, play football.
Beaches
The Algarve has many beautiful beaches, some of which are ideal for children. There are sandy and rocky beaches, but each beach has its own charm and beautiful surroundings. About 15 minutes’ drive from Vila do Ouro, there are 2 beautiful child-friendly beaches: Praia Sao Rafael and Praia de Galé. Each beach has sanitary facilities and its own restaurant where you can enjoy delicious Portuguese food. From grilled fish to a blissful salad. Baby-sit
Want to go out for an evening without the kids? No problem! Vila do Ouro can arrange a English-speaking babysitter lady for the evenings (after 7pm). The babysitter will come to Vila do Ouro and stay with your children in your accommodation until you return.
